COCOA, Fla. — Police said a woman they questioned in connection with the death of a man in Cocoa on Wednesday is not a suspect in the case.

Authorities said they followed a trail of blood that led to Dixon Boulevard, where James Brundige, 62, was found unresponsive and with signs of trauma.
Police said Brundige was pronounced dead at the scene.
A woman who was seen with Brundige an hour before he was found dead was questioned by police, but they said she is not a suspect and has not been charged.
Family friend Shawntray Henderson said he didn't know why anyone would want to cause Brundige harm.
"I'm very disturbed, because that's somebody I knew. It just hurts to the soul to find out he was killed," said Henderson.
Relatives of Brundige said he was a grandfather and was retired.
