MARION COUNTY, Fla. — The eastbound lanes of SE 31st Street will be closed until further notice because of a sinkhole, according to city leaders in Ocala.
The road was shut down on Monday.
The city has posted detours for drivers here.
A sinkhole developed on the median, the sidewalk and inside a drainage retention area of the 2800 block of SE 31st Street, just west of SE Maricamp Road, officials said.
Some of the sinkholes have since been filled, but repairs are currently underway.
