A stalled cold front will bring rain and storms to Central Florida all week

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — We are tracking Weather On the Way for the upcoming work week, as a cold front will stall over Central Florida.

This will allow deep tropical moisture to pool over the region, creating high chances of rain and storms.

The scattered activity this evening will fade away, with partly cloudy skies overnight. Morning lows will be in the mid-70s.

Higher rain and storm chances arrive starting Monday. The best chance for activity will be in the afternoon and likely lingering into much of the evening. Highs for Monday will be in the upper 80s.

Even more moisture arrives midweek, resulting in periods of rain and storms throughout Tuesday and Wednesday. Heavy rainfall is possible, with temperatures only in the mid-80s.

The unsettled weather pattern continues into late week, with more rounds of rain and storms likely. Highs to close out the work week will be in the mid-80s.

Some slightly drier air may move in by next weekend, but the rain and storm chances will continue.
