THE VILLAGES, Fla. — Some people in The Villages were lucky enough to get that first vaccine last month, but now they are wondering where to go for their second because a vaccine shortage caused the drive-up site they went to close.
Some say they haven’t received any information regarding that second dose and they are due for their dose in the next few days.

Channel 9 contacted Global Medical Response, the company who ran the drive-up site, but they did not respond to questions as to what the thousands of people who got vaccinated there should do. And Sumter County’s health department also hasn’t responded.
