Three teens arrested for breaking into dozens of cars at two Orlando hospitals over the weekend are now being linked to 21 vehicles broken into at a Winter Park garage.

Orlando police said officers in Winter Park were able to connect some property found in the teens' stolen car to the Rollins College parking garage break-ins, but the crimes stretch beyond those cases.

Police in several communities are waiting to find out if they are connected to car break-ins in their community.

But police are seeing a big increase in car break-ins in many parts of the Orlando area.

It's a scene that's played out for nearly a week--broken glass and a trail of upset vehicle owners. More than 160 people were hit in a span of a few days.

Orlando police arrested Caleb Burke, 14, Jeffrey Hilaire, 15, and Vincent Sinclair, 15 on Tuesday.

Police said the trio broke into nearly 60 vehicles at two Orlando hospitals.

Police have connected the suspects to 21 break-ins at the Rollins College parking garage.

But police have not yet been able to say whether the same teens are connected to another 70 car break-ins in Altamonte Springs and 25 in Maitland.

They said they're seeing more car break-ins in general.

In Orange County, between December 2016 and February 2017, deputies responded to 1,432 break-ins.

In the same time period last year they had 1,325.

During that time in Winter Park, police responded to 114 car burglaries.

That's nearly double what they saw in the same time 2015 to 2016.

Oviedo, Sanford and Casselberry police said their officers have been called out to between 25 and 35 car break-ins since December.

Volusia County has actually seen a decrease from last year.
