Theme park fabricator Nassal Cos. has been sold

ORLANDO, Fla. — Editor’s note: This story is available as a result of a content partnership between WFTV and the Orlando Business Journal.

Orlando-based firm Nassal Cos., known for its work fabricating theme park environments, has been bought by PCL Construction, a powerhouse in the general contracting and construction industry.

Nassal Cos.’ past work includes Universal Orlando Resort’s Wizarding World of Harry Potter, SeaWorld Orlando’s Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin, Legoland Florida and several other local attractions. Currently, Nassal Cos. is involved in Universal’s $1 billion Epic Universe theme park.

Terms were not revealed for the deal, which was announced May 22.
