TITUSVILLE, Fla. — A Titusville-based hydrogen technology company has been named a finalist for the 2026 Platts Global Energy Awards.
GenH2 was selected as a finalist in the “Excellence in Energy – Midstream” category, the company announced Thursday.
The annual awards, organized by S&P Global Energy, recognize companies and individuals across 19 categories in the energy and chemicals industries. This year’s finalists represent 36 countries.
GenH2 said its nomination recognizes its work on liquid hydrogen storage technology designed to reduce venting and boil-off, which can result in hydrogen being lost before it is used.
“We are honored to be recognized alongside some of the largest energy companies in the world for our critical Zero-Loss liquid hydrogen solutions that help the energy industry get more value from every kilogram of hydrogen,” GenH2 CEO Greg Gosnell said.
GenH2 is a subsidiary of Germany-based Path2 Hydrogen AG and develops liquid hydrogen infrastructure systems, including controlled storage and hydrogen liquefaction equipment.
The company says its technology team includes former NASA scientists with decades of hydrogen research and engineering experience.
Winners of the 28th annual Platts Global Energy Awards will be announced Dec. 3 during a ceremony in New York City.
The winners are selected by an independent panel of energy industry experts.
