BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — State troopers shut down a stretch of Interstate 95 near Cocoa early Thursday.

Florida Highway Patrol said the shutdown involves a car hauler and a chain-reaction crash.
Investigators said the driver of the car hauler failed to stop for traffic ahead.

As of 6:30 a.m., I-95 southbound remained closed in the area of Port St. John Parkway.
