OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — Troopers are investigating a deadly hit-and-run crash in Osceola County.
7:35 a.m. update:
A pedestrian was killed early Friday morning in a hit-and-run crash at the intersection of Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway and International Drive in Osceola County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
State troopers are searching for a metallic black 2007-2010 Ford Edge that fled the scene after striking the adult male victim.
The collision occurred at approximately 2:55 a.m. as the vehicle was traveling westbound in the outside lane of U.S. 192, also known as Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway.
The pedestrian ran from the south shoulder in a northerly direction outside of a marked crosswalk and entered the direct path of the vehicle, which struck him with its right front headlight area.
The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Traffic homicide investigators recovered vehicle parts at the site of the collision.

State troopers said the crash remains under investigation.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers are investigating a deadly crash Friday in Osceola County.
The crash happened around 3 a.m. at US-192 and Holiday Trail, right next to Old Town.
The crash has all westbound lanes of US-192 shut down in the area.
Drivers are urged to seek an alternate route and avoid the area if possible.
