APOPKA, Fla. — Twenty rescued puppies from Alabama are heading to Central Florida next weekend as part of a rescue flight.
Puppy Rescue Flights said the puppies will arrive at Orlando Apopka Airport on Sunday, Oct. 4.
The puppies range from 9 weeks to 5 months old and are coming from six rescue organizations and independent rescuers in Alabama.
After landing, the puppies will be transferred to three Central Florida organizations: Save A Life Pet Rescue in Oviedo, Creegan Canine Rescue in Windermere and FL Pointer Rescue in New Smyrna Beach.
Puppy Rescue Flights said the organizations will care for the puppies as they begin the next step toward finding homes.
