ORLANDO, Fla. — Universal Orlando Resort announced two themed entertainment experiences coming to Universal CityWalk, highlighting the film “Wicked” and the television series “The Traitors: New Blood.”
According to the resort, the offerings include a single-day fan event titled Oztacular Spectacular on Saturday, Oct. 24, alongside a themed bar setup located at Universal’s Great Movie Escape.
The Oztacular Spectacular event will take place from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Universal CityWalk. Scheduled activities include meet-and-greets with the characters Glinda and Elphaba, stained-glass photo stations and displays featuring authentic movie costumes and props. A DJ will play music from the soundtrack on a yellow brick dance floor, while trivia sessions will offer participants opportunities to win themed giveaways. Attendees can also purchase franchise merchandise at the Universal Legacy Store.
Universal’s Great Movie Escape is hosting the themed bar experience for “The Traitors: New Blood.” The experience spans two levels, featuring “The Library” space on the first floor and “The Roundtable” venue on the second floor.
Visitors to the bar can view set elements, props and costumes worn by show host Alan Cumming while ordering themed specialty beverages. The venue operates Wednesday through Sunday from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. Access to the bar area does not require general park admission, though separate admission is required for the escape room attractions at Universal’s Great Movie Escape.
