U.S. Navy Blue Angels to headline inaugural Wings Over Ocala air show

The three-day event at Ocala International Airport will include military demonstrations, aerobatics, drones and fireworks

OCALA, Fla. — The U.S. Navy Blue Angels will headline a new three-day air show coming to Ocala International Airport in spring 2027.

The inaugural Wings Over Ocala Florida Air Show is scheduled for April 30 through May 2, 2027.

Organizers said the event will begin Friday afternoon with the Blue Angels’ final rehearsal flight, followed by high-performance jets, warbirds and aerobatic performances into the evening.

Friday night is also expected to include a 300-drone show set to music and a fireworks finale.

Blue Angels to close weekend shows

More than a dozen performers are scheduled to take part Saturday and Sunday, with the Blue Angels serving as the final demonstration both days.

Other scheduled acts include:

  • A four-ship F-15 Eagle demonstration
  • A parachute jump team
  • Smoke-n-Thunder Jet Car
  • Redline Airshows
  • Aerobatic pilot Michael Goulian
  • Outlaw Jet Team
  • F4U Corsair demonstration
  • Four P-51 Mustangs
  • F-86 Sabre demonstration

Organizers said additional performers are expected to be announced closer to the event.

Tickets must be purchased in advance

Tickets, parking passes and other event information are available through the official air show website.

Organizers said tickets and parking must be purchased online in advance and will not be sold on the day of the performances.

The event is being organized by JLC AirShow Management in partnership with the Ocala/Marion County Visitors and Convention Bureau and Ocala International Airport.
