VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — Volusia County’s ECHO Rangers program invites students in grades 1 through 5 to explore more than 50 environmental, cultural, historic, and outdoor sites.
Coordinated by the DeBary Hall Historic Site, the initiative uses a specialized guidebook to lead families through various parks, museums, and landmarks. Participants engage in self-guided activities that include hiking, biking, fishing, and art projects.
Registration for the program requires a one-time $20 fee. According to program organizers, this payment provides access to all participating sites for the duration of the season. Each registered participant receives a “Passport to Adventures” guidebook, a badge, a lanyard, and a T-shirt.
Parents can register their children at DeBary Hall from Tuesday through Sunday.
A registration event is scheduled for Sept. 12 at the Port Orange Regional Library from 11 am to 3 pm.
