The giveaway will take place from 9 a.m. to noon on Friday, Sept. 4, while supplies last. Each household is limited to one pool alarm and one door/window alarm.
The alarms will be available at two locations: Deltona Regional Library and Port Orange Regional Library.
To receive an alarm, individuals must be at least 18 years old and provide proof of Volusia County residency with an official document. Participants must also sign a release and waiver form.
