VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — A little Christmas magic is headed to mailboxes across Volusia County this holiday season, with children getting the chance to receive a personalized greeting signed by Santa Claus.
Children ages 12 and younger who live in Volusia County can receive a holiday postcard through the county’s annual program, organized by the Volusia County Parks, Recreation and Culture Division.
How to get a postcard from Santa
Parents and guardians can add a child to Santa’s mailing list by emailing the child’s full name and complete mailing address to elves@volusia.gov.
Each postcard will be addressed to the child by name and signed by St. Nick.
When is the deadline?
Requests must be submitted by Dec. 11 to give Santa’s helpers enough time to prepare and organize each special delivery.
Submissions received by the deadline will be processed so the postcards can arrive at Volusia County homes before the holiday.
