VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — Volusia County is accepting registrations from organizations seeking funding for programs aimed at addressing the opioid crisis.
The county’s Opioid Abatement Advisory Board anticipates receiving $2.5 million in settlement funding from the State of Florida for eligible programs, projects and services.
Local governments, municipalities, nonprofits and for-profit organizations may apply.
Proposals must address the opioid crisis and align with the Volusia County Opioid Abatement Plan. Funding can be used to expand or enhance an existing program or service or create a new one.
Registration is open through Sept. 21. Registered applicants can submit funding applications beginning Aug. 21 through Sept. 21.
The county said late applications or those missing required supplemental documents will not be accepted.
