VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — Residents in a Daytona Beach neighborhood awoke Thursday morning to the sound of explosions going off.

Deputies said its SWAT team was serving a search warrant at 6:30 a.m. on a home in the 700 block of South Beach Street.

"I heard a little pop and a big boom and a little pop and a boom," said neighbor Larry Lutz.

Deputies said the warrant is related to a narcotics search where investigators found 42 grams of hashish, indicators of hashish manufacturing inside the home, along with 10 grams of marijuana, two amphetamine pills and two firearms. Deputies said it was connected to a two-month investigation.

"When I came out of the house, SWAT was running up and down the road. I looked down here and I see the one unit down here and going into that house and it was pretty evident what was happening," said neighbor Don Chamberlain.

No one was inside the home during the raid, deputies said.

Family members told Channel 9's Jeff Levkulich that the people who live inside the home went to Las Vegas for vacation, so no arrests have been made.
