DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Streets jammed with traffic and people, fights and donuts on bridges.
Those are some of the complains people in Daytona Beach have brought to us when they say some of those pop-up events on social media come to town.

The city believes by having a unified response with all the other cities along the peninsula, that will ensure when these events come that officials will be ready.
Recent pop-up events include Orlando Invades Daytona in May and Daytona Truck Meet in June.

Daytona Beach City Commissioner Stacy Cantu said she is working with the other cities on the peninsula from Ormond Beach to Ponce Inlet to form a joint task force to respond to those pop-up social media event that she says can be disruptive for the people living there.
