Fire caused by space heater destroys Daytona Beach home

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — A fire caused by a space heater destroyed a Daytona Beach home on Wednesday morning.

Firefighters said the fire started early Wednesday at a home on Caroline Street.

Crews said they battled the fully involved fire and kept it from spreading to neighboring homes.

Firefighters said the home is a total loss, leaving one person displaced.
