Watch: Seminole County duo caught destroying pot plants by deputies

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — Two people in Seminole County have been arrested, charged with cultivation of marijuana and destroying evidence, deputies said.

Seminole County deputies said their helicopter was near Wildwood Trail in Geneva, during routine patrol, when they spotted Michael Logan, 30, and Jerry Kendall, 62, pull marijuana plants out of the ground and set them on fire.

Firefighters put out the fire and deputies said of the 40 marijuana plants on the property, 30 were destroyed by fire.
