LONGWOOD, Fla. — Wekiva Island is celebrating Halloween throughout October with events for both children and adults.
The Seminole County attraction will host its annual Halloween Party and Costume Contest on Oct. 24 from 7 to 11 p.m. The adults-only event is free and will feature live music and a costume contest with prizes.
Earlier that day, children ages 13 and younger can participate in a free trick-or-treat event from 2 to 3 p.m., followed by a costume parade.
Other events throughout October include tarot card readings, ghost stories and a beginner tarot class.
Wekiva Island will close out the month with its annual Halloween Costume Parade Paddle on Oct. 31, which is free for participants who bring their own paddleboards.
