VALDOSTA, Fla. — Spookley the Square Pumpkin will make his Wild Adventures debut during the theme park’s Great Pumpkin LumiNights celebration this fall.
The new Spookley’s Trick-or-Treat Trail will take children along an expanded section of the park’s Alapaha Trail.
Children can pick up a trick-or-treat bag and visit six themed treat stations. The trail will also feature scavenger-hunt activities, interactive bubble stations and seasonal decorations.
The experience ends with Story Time with Spookley and an opportunity for families to meet the square pumpkin.
“Spookley’s story fits naturally with what families already love about Great Pumpkin LumiNights,” Wild Adventures sales and marketing director Adam Floyd said. “He brings a meaningful message about celebrating what makes each of us different.”
Spookley has appeared in children’s books and animated movies for more than 20 years. He also serves as the official spokes-pumpkin for PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center.
The trail, story time and character meet-and-greet are included with park admission during Great Pumpkin LumiNights.
The event runs on select Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from Sept. 26 through Nov. 1. Other attractions include illuminated pumpkin displays, the 100-foot Twilight Tunnel, Foggy Forest, live entertainment and rides operating after dark.
Wild Adventures is located at 3766 Old Clyattville Road in Valdosta, Georgia.
