ORLANDO, Fla. — WWE WrestleMania 33 is coming to the Citrus Bowl next year.
According to WWE WrestleMania’s Facebook page, the event will be held on April 2, 2017 at the Orlando Citrus Bowl.
“We are the first city to host WrestleMania twice, and you know, we're the most visited city in the world, and having WWE select us again is just a testament to what we have to offer here in Orlando,” said Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer.
The stadium also hosted the event in 2008.
"We'll have 100,000 people this year at WrestleMania. We come here, obviously we will definitely sell out in very quick order," WWE's Vince McMahon said.
Dyer said the event in 2008 set records for attendance, product, food and drink sales.
