VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — A Volusia County man is in jail without bond Wednesday morning after he attacked his brother with two guns and a samurai sword, police told WFTV.
Matthew Meador - Suspect Mug Shot - 060910 Police say 24-year-old Matthew Meador's brother went to Meador's house in Holly Hill on Saturday because their mother said Matthew was drunk and loud. That is when Meador shot at his brother with a rifle and then a pistol.
Meador's brother wrestled the guns away from him, and then Meador pulled out the sword.
Nobody was hurt in the incident. Matthew Meador now faces attempted murder charges.
