Movie Star From Orlando Dies

LOS ANGELES, Ca.,None — Fans are mourning the loss of a Hollywood actor who grew up in Orlando.

James Gammon was best known for his role in the movie "Major League." He also appeared in "Cool Hand Luke," "Urban Cowboy," "Silverado," and, more recently, "Grey's Anatomy" and Monk."

Gammon, who died Friday in California, was diagnosed with cancer more than two years ago. He grew up in Central Florida before becoming an actor.
