Myers faced a judge Friday afternoon and was denied bond. He will remain locked up at the Seminole County jail.

The sheriff's office said Myers had only one previous arrest for driving with a suspended license. Now, he may be imprisoned the rest of his life and a beloved young woman is gone.

Myers looked calm as he appeared in front of a judge at the jail Friday afternoon. The 25-year-old told police he "snapped" on Thursday and is now facing a murder charge in a crime.

Myers was arrested late Thursday night and WFTV was there when Oviedo police took him to jail (images | video).

WFTV has obtained the 911 call made by the victim's father, however an editorial choice was made to not post the call in full on WFTV.com due to its sensitive and highly-emotional nature.

"I need ambulance and medic and police right away!" Amanda's father Darrell Shafer told the operator.

Darrell Shafer called 911 to report that he found his daughter unresponsive on her bedroom floor.

"My daughter, she's not breathing. I think she's dying! There's blood everywhere!" Darrell Shafer cried out to the operator.

In the emotional call, Darrell Shafer begged for someone to help his daughter.

"Amanda baby! Baby, Baby!" he screamed over the phone.

Myers slept on the couch at the Oviedo home owned by the family of his girlfriend. A friend told police Myers was there Thursday, drinking since 11:00am, fighting with Amanda, and even breaking a door.

In an arrest report a friend stated, "She stated Scott [was] consuming alcohol and they were constantly arguing. However, she stated this was not unusual as they always argue."

As Shafer washed the dishes that evening, the arguing continued. Myers told police that Amanda began hitting him and he grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed her.

"She was my best friend. For years, she's been my only friend and I can't even believe what's going on. I'm in shock, like, I'm crying and then I'm fine and I'm crying and I'm fine. I don't know. Because, like, I talked to her a day ago and everything was great. She said, 'I'm going to kick him out,'" said April Awe, victim's best friend.

The report also states that Myers took off in Amanda's rental car, ditched it at his mom's Winter Springs home, and ran again before finally turning himself in.

On her MySpace page, the Amanda described herself as passionate about life and passionately "in love" with Myers, but friends said the young love was full of turbulence.

"She said, ‘I'm gonna kick him out,' And I was gonna even kick him out myself. You know, we were all gonna get him out of here, 'cause I knew something was gonna happen," Awe said.

Before his eventual confession, Myers initially told police that Shafer tried to commit suicide and he cut his hand after trying to get the knife away from her. Myers claimed that he left in a panic.

However, Myers eventually confessed to the killing after investigators confronted Myers with the fact that Amanda had several stab wounds in areas of her body she could not possibly reach herself.

Now, friends are left wondering what anyone could have done to prevent an allegedly abusive boyfriend from turning to murder.

"He didn't want to let her do nothing. He wanted her all to himself. And I told her, because we've had conversations about this, 'You need to leave this guy,'" Frederick said.

The official cause of death won't be known until an autopsy is performed.
