ORLANDO, Fla.,None — A woman was attacked and raped in the parking lot of an apartment complex early Saturday morning, Orlando police said.
Police told WFTV the incident happened around 5:30 a.m. at the Willow Key Apartments off of Kirkman Road.
Investigators said witnesses heard screaming and found the victim half naked and badly beaten in the parking lot. The woman was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police will not say if the victim is a resident of the apartment complex.
Officers quickly set up a search perimeter, but the suspect was not located.
Police said the suspect is described as a black male, between 25-30 years of age, 5'7" tall, and driving a red four-door vehicle.
Police said a passerby scared off the attacker. The victim told police that said she was unable to remember the attack.
