After months of investigation, FBI Director James Comey on Tuesday said an exhaustive review of Hillary Clinton’s email practices as Secretary State showed that she had been “extremely careless” with classified information, but that no criminal charges were being recommended against the presumptive Democratic Party nominee for President.
“Although the Department of Justice makes final decisions on matters like this, we are expressing our view that no charges are appropriate in this case,” Comey told reporters.
“We cannot find a case that would support bringing criminal charges on these facts,” the FBI Director added.
