Anthony Glenn Schweinister, 33, was arrested Sept. 3 by Mesa police and charged with criminal damage and third-degree burglary, according to Maricopa County court records.

Schweinister allegedly built a boxing ring and spray painted a giant skull on the floor, according to court records. Prosecutors said Schweinister caused more than $2,000 damage to the building and museum artifacts, KNXV reported.

Police said Schweinister used bolt cutters to break into a city-owned building used to house items for the Arizona Natural History Museum, KNXV reported.

Police said Schweinister admitted to entering the building "numerous times" to build the ring and gym, the television station reported.
