A University of Alabama student embarking on a spring break trip to Florida was arrested after cases of beer and marijuana were found in his truck, authorities said.

Alden Whiteside, 19, was traveling to Destin on Interstate 10 Friday afternoon when a deputy from the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office pulled the teen over on suspicion of driving recklessly, according to WSFA.

During the traffic stop, a deputy found seven, 30-pack cases of beer in the teen's pickup truck. The deputy also found marijuana in the center console.

Authorities said the teen also had a fake driver's license that made it appear he is 24.

The teen was taken to the county jail, the Sheriff's Office said.

And what happened to the beer? Police poured it out.
