Teen who exposed himself in yearbook photo won't face charges

MESA, Ariz. — The 69 counts of misdemeanor indecent exposure against a high school football player have been dropped.

Hunter Osborn, 19, exposed himself in a yearbook photo with his teammates in Mesa, Arizona.

He was arrested Saturday for indecent exposure.

NBC News reported that police said each count was for each of the victims who appeared in the picture.

The yearbook went out to 3,400 students.

KNXV reported that none of the students in the photo chose to press charges, and Mesa police said the case would be closed.

"I’m so happy with all the support. I am so thankful," Osborn told KNXV Wednesday. "God is on my side and I am very blessed for everything that happened from the support side."

Maricopa County Attorney Bill Montgomery said in a Wednesday news release that  "the evidence does not establish a violation of the statute."

Red Mountain High School has recalled the yearbooks and school officials said measures would be taken to ensure this does not happen in the future.
