Fayetteville, NC — A heartwarming video of a Chick-fil-A cashier signing to a hearing-impaired customer is going viral for all the right reasons.
Cynthia Walker, 20, is deaf and communicates via sign language. For the first time, she experienced a chance to order for herself.
It's all thanks to Fayetteville, North Carolina, Chick-fil-A employee named Taylor Anez, "who did not miss a beat on greeting us with a warm smile, and asking my daughter first what she would like," Walker's mother, identified by WTVD as Terri Buelman, wrote on Facebook.
“My daughter was so surprised and happy. She even asked me how that lady knew how to sign to her,” wrote Walker’s mother.
According to WTVD, Anez learned sign language to communicate with her deaf relatives.
Anez has only worked at Chick-fil-A for a couple of weeks.
