The Foo Fighters announced via social media Tuesday afternoon that the remainder of their tour dates have been canceled to grieve the Friday night death of drummer Taylor Hawkins
“It is with great sadness that Foo Fighters confirm the cancellation of all upcoming tour dates in light of the staggering loss of our brother Taylor Hawkins,” the rockers posted on Twitter.
“We’re sorry for and share in the disappointment that we won’t be seeing one another as planned. Instead, let’s take this time to grieve, to heal, to pull our loved ones close, and to appreciate all the music and memories we’ve made together. With Love, Foo Fighters,” the post concluded.

Hawkins, 50, died Friday, hours before a scheduled show in Bogota, Columbia.

Colombian authorities said Sunday that preliminary toxicology tests indicated that Hawkins had 10 different drugs in his system at the time of his death, but no cause of death has been determined.
The group was next slated to perform at the Grammy Awards on April 3, with global tour dates through the summer, CNN reported.
