WBNS says Brett Redd, 36, reported that his passenger stole his truck from a gas station last week. Hillard Police were able to locate his passenger, David Harrison, in a nearby neighborhood.

Both Redd and Harrison have been booked on recommended charges of stolen property.

During their investigation, police learned that the truck was previously stolen by Redd on May 4. WHIO says the truck was taken from a landscaping company and it was reported to the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office.
