Days after the “Today” show co-host Hoda Kotb announced she had tested positive for COVID-19, Savannah Guthrie has also tested positive for the coronavirus.
“We’re trading places,” Guthrie told Kotb at the start of Monday’s broadcast. “I’m working from home. You’re back in the studio. You have a negative test for COVID. I just tested positive for COVID, so here we go.”
Guthrie, who is vaccinated and has received a booster shot, said she had mild symptoms and expects to be back in the studio in a few days, the “Today” show reported.
Last week Seth Meyers and Jimmy Fallon announced they had both tested positive for the virus, CNN reported.
