ORANGE COUNTY, Fla.,None — One person was killed and another is in critical condition following a serious crash that closed a busy Orange County road Monday night.

The crash happened late Monday night at the intersection of Goldenrod Road and Rio Pinar Lakes Boulevard ( see map ) and involved a pickup truck and two SUVs. The intersection had to be closed while firefighters and rescue crews worked to free victims trapped in the smashed vehicles.
Raquel Ledee, 73, was killed when the SUV she was a passenger in turned left into oncoming traffic on Goldenrod Road. The driver of the SUV, 79-year-old Santos Ledee, is listed in critical condition. Two other passengers in the SUV, a 12-year-old and 3-year-old, suffered minor injuries.
None of the other people involved in the crash were hurt.
The Florida Highway Patrol is still investigating the crash and says charges are pending.
