ORMOND BEACH, Fla. — One person is dead and another is hospitalized with serious injuries after a crash involving a motorcycle and a car in Ormond Beach Saturday afternoon, police said.
The crash occurred around 1:49 p.m. at South Yonge Street and Division Avenue, police said.
The road was closed to traffic until about 5:50 p.m.
Police did not release a cause of the crash and said the investigation is ongoing.
Police said Sunday Heribert Heindel, 45, of Holly Hill died in the crash. He was the driver of the motorcycle. His 15-year-old daughter is in the hospital recovering from her injuries, police said.
