ORLANDO, Fla. — Weather across Central Florida will remain quiet for the next 24 hours as we wait for our next cold front!
That next front has been moving over the Southern Plains on Saturday, part of a big winter storm that brought tornado warnings to Oklahoma and Missouri and the threat of big snowfalls farther north.

As the entire system moves eastward, it’ll drag our next cold front into Florida on Sunday night.
The first half of the day on Sunday will be fairly calm. It’ll get warmer with rip currents at the beaches as the southwest winds pick up. On Sunday afternoon we’ll get back into the upper 70s. By evening, though, we will see some changes. A few showers will be possible with a good chance for storms overnight into the very early hours of Monday.

Monday morning, a few lingering showers will still be possible around Brevard County, but that rain will be ending. The cold front will already be passing through, and the colder air will start plunging in behind it.
Wednesday morning looks to bring the coldest air, with temperatures dropping down to the 30s as far south as Orlando. This cold blast, however, won’t be permanent. We’ll warm back to near 80 degrees again by the end of next week!
