ORLANDO, Fla. — Central Florida is about to see the coldest temperatures for the area in two weeks.
Areas of frost will be likely, especially northwest of I-4 Saturday night. Residents should cover any outdoor tropical plants.
Lake, Sumter, Volusia, Flagler and Polk counties are under a frost advisory overnight.

Most of Central Florida, away from the urban core of Orlando and the waters of Brevard County, will see areas of frost.
Freezing temperatures are likely around Ocala, as Marion County is under a freeze warning Saturday night.
It will then get a little warmer, briefly.

Sunday afternoon, Central Florida will be in the mid-60s with pleasant afternoon weather.
Monday and Tuesday mornings won’t be nearly as cold, and afternoons will warm back to the mid-70s.
But then another front arrives, and then yet another front on Friday night as well.
These repeated fronts will keep our weather generally cool for the next two weeks, with the occasional warmer afternoon.
Mainly dry weather will prevail, with our next substantial chance for rain next week or later.
