ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Scorching heat has arrived in Central Florida. Wednesday will be one of the hottest days so far this year.
Most of Central Florida will be in the mid-90s on Wednesday with the heat index into the 100s, according to certified meteorologist Rusty McCranie.
McCranie said storms and showers are looking more likely for Wednesday afternoon. A chance for more rain arrives Thursday and lasts into the weekend.
