ORLANDO, Fla. — The official high temperature at Orlando International Airport hit 79 degrees Friday afternoon, 77 in Daytona Beach and 76 in Melbourne.
It has been a bit humid and with the warmth, heavier showers could move over Volusia and Brevard Counties early in the evening as the front moves closer to Central Florida.
Expect some scattered showers, not heavy, overnight and a cool Saturday morning, temperature around sunrise in the mid-50s. The winds will shift and be mainly from the north most of the weekend, this will guarantee crisp temperatures and mostly clear skies. High temperatures on Saturday will be between the upper-60s to the low-70s.
After the front passes, the weekend will remain mostly stable and with below-average temperatures, highs in the mid-60s and lows in the mid to upper-40s Sunday.
The wind will remain strong over the coastal counties and the marine area. Dangerous seas will dominate on Saturday bringing in rough seas and a high risk of rip currents. Winds will slightly relax on Sunday.
