Grab your umbrella: Downpours to move through Central Florida today

ORLANDO, Fla. — If you’re headed out to work or to run some errands, you might want to grab an umbrella.

Storms will start to roll through around 10 a.m. Scattered showers will stick around until the evening hours.

Meteorologist Rusty McCranie said the downpours could drop 1 to 2 inches of rain.

Daytime highs will stay in the upper 80s.

In the tropics, all is quiet close to home.

There are two disturbances in the Atlantic.

One of the storms has a 70% chance of developing. The other disturbance has a 20% chance at developing further.
