The shooting happened at about 11:30 a.m. at a home on Fitzgerald Drive near South Cottage Hill Road and West Church Street.

The injured people were taken to Orland Regional Medical Center, where they are stable.

“Detectives believe there was a family altercation that led to the individuals getting shot,” a police spokesman said.

Witnesses told Channel 9 that they heard six rounds fired before they heard a man shout that someone had been shot.

Pastor Stovelleo Stovall said that he, his wife, his sister and seven others were at the home at the time of the shooting.

Stovall said he had a conversation with his nephew, leading him to shoot two people, including his aunt and a bystander.

“I said, ‘Listen, we can’t be around this house letting these young people come in this house doing what they doing,’” he said. “My mama didn’t raise him like that, and she didn’t allow that kind of stuff around her house.”

That is when Stovall said the man opened fire.

“He turned around and just went to shooting, just went to shooting a gun,” Stovall said. “He showed the evilness. He showed he didn’t care. He showed the non-respect. So now, all I ask is -- OPD: Y’all get him now.”

Channel 9 has asked Orlando police to confirm the suspect’s identity.
