As a matter of fact, for nine straight days, Florida gas prices have declined, the auto giant said.

Typically, the global oil market dictates the price of gas at the pump.

“Friday’s closing price of $104.70 [per barrel] is still $19 less than the 2022 high of $123.70 [per barrel],” AAA’s Mark Jenkins said.

“Nineteen dollars is the equivalent to a 45 cent swing at the pump. So far, gas prices have dropped 20 cents per gallon, so another 25 cent discount is possible,” Jenkins explained.

We’ll let AAA do the fancy math.

In the meantime, know this: If you have an average-sized gas tank that reads “Empty” on Monday, plan to shell out about $63 to fill it up.
