PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. — A South Florida man is sharing his story after surviving being tossed around in a tornado.

Video shows a car going airborne as an EF-2 tornado ripped through Palm Beach Gardens on Saturday.
Zach Means said he was inside of his car with his dog, Marlin, during the storm.

He said he got a tornado warning alert on his phone and tried to drive home, but the twister was right in front of him.
“When the car started to flip, like, I do remember kind of like a flash of seeing the airbag go off and the glass break, but then, you know, we were back upright, and I was just sitting there with my hands on the wheel, and it seemed to happen, basically, instantaneously,” Means said.

Thankfully, Means and his dog were not hurt.
The National Weather Service said the tornado was only on the ground for about 11 minutes.
