A shooting outside the Central Florida Fairground on Gospel Night sent two teenagers to the hospital on Saturday, investigators said.
As gunshots rang out outside a Chevron gas station across the street, nearby business owner Tom Miller’s cameras captured a group running for safety.

Police and deputies responded down the street at the fairgrounds, which were closed early.
Miller said the violence in the area has become the norm.
“No, not shocked around here. I’ve got plenty of videos of shootings around here,” Miller said.
The staff at the fairgrounds agreed.
They told Channel 9 through email and by phone that they have increased staffing and lighting for the Central Florida Fair, which started Thursday and runs through March 19.
There were 27 officers and deputies working at the fairgrounds on Saturday, the fair’s busiest night, along with more than 30 private security staff.

While the fairgrounds updated its safety policy four years ago, officials are putting more in place to make the fair a safe place for families
Part of the policy requires any minors without parents to buy a wristband to prevent people from sneaking in over the fence or attending without adult supervision.
The shooting is still under investigation.
