ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Olympia High School is set to resume face-to-face learning Monday.
Six confirmed cases of COVID-19 at the school forced the district to shut it down earlier this month.
It was the first school OCPS officials temporarily closed this semester.
District officials transitioned all Olympia High School students to LaunchEd@home until Sept. 21.

Contact tracers determined some of those who tested positive attended a birthday party together.
156 people – including students and staff -- were issued a quarantine letter by the Department of Health in Orange County.

Orange County health officials said Olympia High School closed “out of an abundance of caution” and said 13 students attended the birthday party.
Eyewitness News learned 19 teachers were among those asked to quarantine, which played a role in the district’s decision to close the school.
