Orange County authorities seek help identifying individuals near scene of fatal shooting

Investigators said the individuals shown in photos released by the sheriff’s office were seen in the area around the time of the shooting

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying a pair of individuals who may have information about the fatal shooting of a 19-year-old aspiring doctor.

Deputies said 19-year-old Shoumana Abelanda Toutoute was shot and killed around 12:55 a.m. on Oct. 1 on Ole Heritage Drive.

Investigators said the individuals shown in photos released by the sheriff’s office were seen in the area around the time of the shooting and would like to speak with them.

Authorities are urging anyone who witnessed the shooting or has information about events leading up to or following the incident to come forward.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Orange County Sheriff’s Office non-emergency line at 407-836-4357 or Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS (8477). Tipsters may be eligible for a reward of up to $5,000 if their information leads to an arrest.

The homicide investigation remains ongoing.
