SANFORD, Fla. — A man was shot early Tuesday in the driveway of a home in Sanford's Goldsboro neighborhood, the Sanford Police Department said.
The victim, whose identity wasn't released, was shot at about 2:30 a.m. on Mitch Court West off of Hartwell Avenue, Sanford police spokeswoman Bianca Gillett said.
The man, who's in his early 20s, was possibly seated in a car when he was shot in the chest, Gillett said.

He was taken to Central Florida Regional Hospital in critical but stable condition.
Police said the gunman remains at large.
The shooting remains under investigation.
No other details were given.
