“What we realized is that Mitchell, he was previously involved in a relationship with a female there at the home,” Lt. John Herrell said.

At this point, deputies can’t say why Mitchell showed back up at the home early Monday morning.
However, a look at Mitchell’s background reveals a lengthy criminal history with arrests dating back 15 years, mostly in Seminole County.
His past charges include armed robbery and domestic assault, but at this point investigators don’t know why he was shot.
Lake County Sheriff’s Office investigators say they still need to interview people who were in the area at the time of the shooting.
They’re hoping those interviews will give them a better idea about who shot Mitchell and why.
